X-Plane's KingAir C90B with winglets and black panel

Featured Replies

Hi fellow pilots,

For those interested in flying X-Plane's default KingAir C90B:

I just published a free mod which adds winglets to the KingAir and includes a blackened/darkened cockpit panel (and many other visual improvements). I've come to love flying the KingAir in X-Plane 11 because its remarkably FPS-friendly in VR while providing much complexity and versatility. The KingAir thus deserves a stunning look and feel.

Enjoy!

Hi,

Thanks for your work. I am downloading it now. It does look good.

I like your avatar 'uncertified pilot' - when the Feds shredded my medical, I was one of those for several years.

This is actually a very well made XP11 aircraft. I flew one in the rw with the -21 engines modeled here and on a warm/hot day they'd temp out first and even egt indication changes to throttle movement are great. The only improvement in addition to the one here (Thanks!) would be being able to bring the autopilot controls up in a 2D panel. Otherwise this is a really enjoyable machine.
