Hi, Wailbal. I've had MCE for years, and you always have to uninstall the previous version first or you can't continue. Never had a problem. If it does call for speech training again, takes 30 seconds!

No need for speech training.

Speech profile is managed by Windows and only lost when you format C drive or delete your user account from your system.

This update is for Prepar3D, FSX and FS9 MCE package.

If you wish, you no longer need to run the sim as administrator from now on.

Good job I was able to find a back up of my serial number on an external drive! Pretty sure I bought MCE from flightsimstore.com or one of those other online stores which went 'boom' a while back and took our purchase history records down with them. That would have been fun trying to find that serial number 🤣

I've just reinstalled MCE 2.8.3.8 and it no longer recognizes my Aerosoft CRJ-700 Pro aircraft.  It defaults to the Bombardier_CRJ_700 and of course does not execute any command.  Help?

Go to \Prepar3D v4\ main installation folder and check you have a folder named <MCE dlls> with about 40+ dlls inside it.

Normally, the installer puts that folder there.

If you put it manually by copying folder from downloaded file, delete it and e-install MCE.

If folder is missing, go to downloaded unzipped file and look under \Resources\Files\FSX\ folder.

Copy <MCE dlls x64> folder to \Prepar3D v4\ folder then rename it to <MCE dlls>.

If aircraft not recognized, please post [fltsim.X] section found in "aircraft.cfg folder for the Aerosoft CRJ-700 pro.

With Aeosoft CRJ loaded and MCE running, go to <Command> tab and click <Voxscript> button.

Do you see any pe-made flows there?

Try running "prepar3D.exe" as administrator.

The MCE display is now showing Bombardier CRJ-700, which is different than before.  Command/VoxScript shows the expected existing scripts.  

Command are being understood by MCE but no actions are taken.  The Safety Check Flow ran to the end, but no changes to the panels were made.  Same with Set Nav Lights On or Set Dome Light On.  MCE did respond if the switch was already in the commanded position.

I've reproduced the problem when starting MCE using SimStarter or from the desktop.

Are you by any chance running P3D with some workarounds like renaming "Prepar3D.exe" as "fsx.exe" or other tricks to accommodate non native add-ons?

Go to Prepar3D installation folder and report fsInsider64.dll version.
