Am I the only one getting bizarre ATC instructions?

Recommended Posts

It wasn't this bad before I upgraded from 2.5 to the latest. Example, flight from MMUN to TJSJ, on the HECA1A departure. "Climb via the SID"  So I do. Sid has me at 5,000 feet for the next fix. "Climb and maintain FL210."   OK... Probably means via the sid. I'll stay here till I cross the next point. Nope. "Expedite climb to FL210."  So I start climbing to 210, and it tells me to descend to 5,000 until crossing the next point. So I start to do that. "Expedite climb to FL210." At that point I gave up.

Happened last night too on a STAR. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Please email me (admin@pilot2atc.com) the log file from this flight and I'll see what's going on.

P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name.
Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab.
A new one is created each time you start Pilot2ATC, and is closed when you shut it down. So if you take the most recent one after you have the error and after you shut down P2A, you should have the correct one.
