Left Turning Aircraft

Recommended Posts

Hi! My aircraft just want to turn left, both my engines are on and have the same thrust. This is on all my aircraft.

Sincerely Axel

Is this on the ground or airborne?  What kind of hardware are you using?

Since this is on all aircraft you might need to calibrate your joystick, yoke, etc.

That sounds like a classic case of bad calibration or double assignement.

Is there a specific moment when this happens, for instance when you move an aileron or you move the elevator or when you push/pull the throttle ?

After having checked the calibration, see that there is not a double assignment the rudder axis also on your throttle or joystick for instance.

Also make sure the trims are centred (numpad 5 I think), although I thought that when you select a new plane, the trims are centred anyway.

I seem to remember having an "aircraft pulling to the left" issue some time ago, but I do not remember the solution to the problem! One thing I know is that it was not a calibration issue. I do remember having one or two issues with addon planes with the F22 as the default plane on the Scenario screen, so I switched to the Beechcraft Baron B58, and that solved the problem. I am aware that the Baron is no longer available in P3Dv4, but I kept a copy from an older version.....

Decreasing realism settings (P-factor, torque and gyro) may help?

Just to clarify, Axel, you replied "It's both" to the question asking if the planes did it on the ground or in the air. However, someone asked does it affect jets and prop aircraft?

You mentioned BOTH engines are on which indicates a twin. IF ONLY prop powered twins are affected, have you got both propellers unfeathered? The reasons I ask this is because only the other day, I took off in my Flight1 Islander and needed a complete boot full of left rudder despite both engines running. Turns out I hadn't unfeathered the right prop for whatever reason!!  Yes, the rpm gauges did reflect the difference, but I was looking out of the windshield...

Hey! I haven't had time with it until now when I go to school and don't sit in front of my computer all the time. I will now test your tips and see if anything works!

Sorry, it probably came across more strongly than i intended. It was really trying to say that some response, even to say you're too busy, is better than no response, otherwise people will assume you've dealt with the problem and don't need further help..
