Not sure how I missed this news but, although I was aware that Jim was very ill, I am still very sad to read of his passing. Jim was an Avsim stalwart and a font of flight simulation knowledge which he was always ready to use to help any of us who needed it, myself included. Indeed his FSX Configuration Guide remains essential reading for anyone using that platform. He will be greatly and sadly missed here on Avsim. My deepest condolences to his family. RIP Jim.

Wow just read this news... totally shocked. 

Jim was such a great help here on Avsim, such a big loss for us all.

We visit AVSIM regular but sometimes you just read to late the said news.
