How to turn off or disable Chaseplane?

Recommended Posts

It's me, for sure, but can someone tell me how to turn off or disable temporarily Chaseplane in order to manage custom PB-routes via UGCX.

Until now i only worked with computer generated PB-routes, witch is not always a good idea.

Tnx for your help.

In PREFERENCES turn OFF the switch to auto start with P3D or FSX.

This way you have to turn it manually to ON if you want to use it in a session.

Additional to this, UGCX has a hidden feature that will automatically turn off/on Ezdok or chaseplane thru hot keys....this has not being documented yet on the manuals, as it was added last minute in the v1.7 release. But there are two hot keys configurations on the initialization file that once you fill them, UGCX will attempt to send a keypress simulation so Ezdok/Chaseplane catches that hot key and inmediattly turn on/off itself depending on when your turn on/off the top-down simulation view, so you don't have to do it manually. This feature needs some more testing, but it's meant so the user doesn't have to go over and disable/enable temporarily chaseplane/ezdok manually. As me, and many others users, love these two tools (Ezdok/chaseplane).

Cheers,

Manuel

May I ask how to enter this in the ini to disable EZDOK if the toggle is NumLock 3 (3 on the keypad)?

Kind regards,

Alan

There is a shortcut / hotkey that is created for disable ezdok temporary. It automatically attempts to disable ezdok simulating that hotkey.

I'll find and return back to you when I have it
