Aerosoft Airbus nosedives and steep climbs when out of focus

Featured Replies

Hi all

It doesn't happen often that I have a problem that I can't find a solution for elsewhere online, however this is one.

I recently installed the latest version of P3D and the latest version of the Aerosoft Airbus A320 family.

It all works fine when I'm in the sim and the sim is in focus, but whenever I focus on another window, or even hover over an icon in the taskbar and preview another window, the autopilot goes crazy. Sometimes it starts to waggle, going up and down. Sometimes sideways. Sometimes it suddenly climbs at 6000ft/min, sometimes it nosedives at 6000ft/min. Sometimes it does all of this at once and crashes on the ground.

It all works perfectly fine when P3D is in focus. Flights are stable and normal and nothing too unusual happens.

For reference, I'm using P3D v4.5.13.32097 and Aerosoft Airbus A318-21 pro v 1.3.0.3

Any tips or ideas are much appreciated.

Kind regards

Dag

Yes ive seen all this and worse. I'll minimize P3D on long hauls and every 20-30 flight or so I'll find it in the dirt or at FL400 trying to do mach .9 when the window is restored. One thing to try, which I havent, is raise the P3D process priority to 'high' or 'above normal'. Note that I dont do anything else while minimized.

I'll give it a go now and update this post with results 🙂

Unfortunately it doesnt fix it

I had a similar one when I ChasePlane twisted appearance. The autopilot shuts off. Apparently there are errors.

I have an additional question. On the official forum, I did not understand anything. How to enter Navigraph and remove the red stripes from the EFB?

Through the configurator, I go to the Navigraph website and confirm the entry. But the red bars with an error do not disappear.

In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.

The best place to get support for our Airbus is in our forums.  I'm not permitted to provide support here, but I'd be happy to do so in our forum.

Best wishes.
