Some devs will probably call it a day, but most will improve and update their add-ons and charge little to nothing for doing it. That's a community that is strong! I think that many addons (basic GA planes and sceneries) should work without problems. You can also copy the files in case the installer won't be updated. I think that complex aircraft like PMDG and Aerosoft (not FSLabs) should also work without updates because both sims are 64-bit. But I am not sure if textures from P3D v4 will work in v5 because of DX11 to DX12 transition. I think many addons will need just a installer update so you can install an update directly to V5 without manually copying files. But I would love to see more BPR textures in addons I own for example sceneries ... I7-10700 (4.8 GHz with HT enabled) 2x16GB DDR4 3600MHz Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super OC Gaming

Snark in this instance simply means "tongue-in-cheek", IOW an attempt at levity, not to be taken seriously. Of course I can't. That's why the aircraft models, systems and FDEs they use aren't available to the general public. The aircraft included are either donated or licensed from a host of development houses so there can be some content on delivery. Fr. April 12, 20206 yr New leaks of another sim. The next version will be even more awesome, leaving even bigger opportunities for the 3rd party devs. It requires four Nvidia RTX 70080 and DirectX 15. By default you can't turn left, but there is an elite team of beta testers that are currently developing a payware addon for that. It will be 10% off for owners of the "Turn Right X" addon. Limited time offer. There are rumors regarding a "Turn left X, Turn right X, Pitch down X" addon bundle. Edited April 12, 20206 yr by tolip2
