FS2004 looks familiar to me...

No need to say that the pictures are superb!

Sad but true. Take a look at all those FS9 images with the 'unofficial' orbx textures. Looks far better then FSX/P3D(een V5) default does. Quite a bit more. Something not right there me thinks.

Well...yes and no. At least in case of XP11, if you add free photoscenery (which is not available at that detail and quality in FS9), you'll get to realize, how far we have come 😊😊

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

I'm not sure it looks better, and is obviously not legal, but, it's not that far behind.

There are only two main things really: terrain resolution is very limiled in 2004, and there is very limited shadowing options. Other than that, and yes, a few other things (mainly down to third parties) these sixteen years or so, have not gained us that much.

To my eyes it looks a LOT better then FSX/P3D default. They aren't really that impressive. I watched a v5 default ony video yesterday that didn't look any better then my FSX. Which is bland and lifeless default.  😲

I guess everyone's eyes is different. :)
