sometimes i see the login page for download, but after entering the credentials the database error shows up 🙂

I don't think this is just regular flooding of a server. Their servers have been shaky all day, even their forums and I have my doubts there's enough simmers refreshing for the release of P3D, to bring down a Lockheed Martin server. Think this is just a perfect storm of a moderate amount of people hitting a server that wasn't feeling well.
