Incorrect.  I'm getting the clouds I install from SkyForce.  Beautiful.

So although you can use sf for the weather engine, the clouds are all still 2d sprites, is that right?

meaning that you can’t display volumetric clouds with it yet?

The weather injection from the rex weather engine works with true sky. There are issues with the wind direction though.

Oh, but aren’t the clouds you install from skyforce the 2d sprite textures?

Are you saying that they are depicted as volumetric clouds?

The cloud textures aren’t compatible with the true sky volumetric clouds. If you switch enhanced atmospherics off you will see the rex textures.

The weather engine however is compatible with true sky volumetric clouds.

Hm interesting thanks for clarifying this. I’ll have to give it a try. I’ve just never seen any of the true sky pics depicting anything other than basic cumulus puffs or a bit of stratus.

There aren’t any more complex cloud structures really due to limitations in the implementation of true sky at the moment. But at least it will try to depict live weather.

Been using SkyForce since day 1....primarily for weather (since Active Sky is not available), and secondly, for sky and clouds.  Works great.  Like it was said above, just point SkyForce to your P3dv5 folder.  Big difference.

Great news!

I would not use advanced weather at all, since this kills FPS by 20%

This video is supposed to show what REX SF 3D works in P3D v5? Really?

Please do a video that illustrates how the sim displays the beautiful TCB clouds.

A simple test from fair weather to building storms.

Not exactly, the RexSF5 cloud structure is not my target because they are 2D sprites and they are poorer compared to the default P3d5 clouds, so I decided to use the default clouds with the real RexSF5 weather engine. Unfortunately there weren't clouds in the that flight.
