I purchased a beautiful XFX 5700xt ultra OC, but apparently I have big problems in the management (even with the latest 2.5.1) of p3d v4 and v5.

I notice that the immediate use of the card is immediately 99-100% and then stabilizes at 60-70% with regular flight.

It happens at random CTD.

The screens Flicker incredibly if you pass the mouse trough the screen.

Too bad, because it's a very powerful big card but absurdly the gtx1080 is fine. If there is a way to fix the problem I would appreciate it.

Since I swapped out my 5700XT, I can't test, but @331BK and @Prpn and others, any luck with this?

I have time to try it tommorow, but I don't have dxgi errors very often.  I hope that LM or/and AMD are fixing the view change error soon.

I was curious if this does change the view change problem...would probably be really useful info to the LM team 😉

LM has confirmed that the incompatibility with NAVI-based AMD GPUs, specifically the 5500, 5600, 5700 and Radeon VII will be fixed with HF2. The problem was in the P3Dv5 code and has been fixed, no new driver needed.  Looking forward to the HF.

New hot fix solved the camera issues with my Radeon VII.

I'm getting VRAM issues again and I have 16Gb and lowered everything... 

 

Edit: issues were caused by a faulty addon. So far it’s excellent!

Guys, how much VRAM are you able to use with your AMD GPU?

With HBMC active, P3D shows about 26-27 Gb of vram. It’s pretty hard to use more then 15-16 gb of it!
