From what I'm reading so far, Carabeo stuff is a word not allowed shoot. I'm very happy to wait. Let's face it, we all have more than enough planes to keep us happy for some weeks.

Pointing the V4 installers at V5 works for the Cessna 208, PC12 and ATR72 on my end. At first the ATR's  FMS wouldn't load but that's solved by following a guide HERE, basically some lines in an xml file that weren't written during install.  So far so good.

Anyone try the RealAir Turbine Duke and/or Alabeo Ovation at night? They work well except the lighting does not illuminate the ground. Not sure what's going on there. Wondering if there's a workaround.

No mate straight out of the box everything working try reinstalling it again and see how you go

I just went through and installed all the ones I own, using the latest installers, choosing p3dv4 and then directing it to my V5 folder.

Works for me:

5. Meridian (worst performer...my guess is the g1000)

I installed several planes by pointing the installer at a dummy folder then emptying the contents of the outcome into my P3Dv5 folders.

Sad to hear my beloved 690 won’t work - but I did get my D18S, AC500, Citation II working.

My Shorts 360 won’t start...one engine starts to start then puff - smoke - no good!? 😞

If anyone has an idea for overcoming that please share as I KNOW I saw the Carenado Shorts 330 happily flying on a P3Dv5 video on YouTube?

Amazingly, (I'm easy to amaze) I gave the Aero Commander another go and it slotted in beautifully. Go figure.

I have to apologize to Carenado for my snarky comments. Their Alabeo C172RG, if properly installed, does indeed work properly, just point the installer to V5. The virtual Cockpit is displayed, too. I'll try more of their planes later.

It remains the fact that a forum would be of help.

Carenado TBM 850 works, The center display seems to be a bit bigger than in 4.5  but still works good. Maybe its fine....

Running the base install of P3Dv5 with SDK and fsuipc. No scenery added. 

Working for me:

Cessna 310

Cessna 337

Piper Chieftain

Beechcraft King 350i

Installed by pointing installet at P3Dv5 location

To update my TBM 850 install, I think is the fact that on the center display, the fonts are larger now than in 4.5HF3. That's what threw me off. other than that, working great!
