Add-ons which work in P3D V5

Recommended Posts

Pro ATC X works after pointing to p3dv5 folder. Made a copy of the PATC folder and used that, now  can use in both V4 and V5

Aerosoft A320 with some minor issues. Uk2000 Gatwick with minor issues.

All Flightbeam products have installers that also works. Only KPDX V5 is running.

Did anybody try to install Traffic Global? Even though I can check a box with version 5 it doesn't seem to recognise it...

While we have so much scenery in P3Dv5 already, unfortunately we don't have any compatible P3Dv5 aircraft installer.

And yes I know I can install some v4 aircraft v5 but I rather wait and use the official installers.

Yes, but there is a bug in the v5 installer. Better wait till a fix! I reported it already at just flight.

Thanks for the replies, so I'll hang on then until it's fixed.

Coolsky DC 9. Direct the installer to the P3D v5 folder and it just works.

Aeroplane Heaven DC-3/C-47 can be made to work if you delete/rename the A2A windshield effect which you can find in the panel folder. The polished metal textures of the American Airlines DC-3 Flagship Knoxville look a bit odd though, they are bouncing out far too much blue in the reflective colour, but any of them which are not using polished metal textures look okay. They all fly fine though although the engine start sequence still needs a patch, so it's a Control+E for the moment to crank the engines without issue.

For anyone having blurry displays with PMDG aircraft, have you tried disabling mip mapping for panels?

Feelthere has indicated that v3 of the ejets is compatible with p3dv5 if the a2a rain dll is disabled and that blurry panel issues can be fixed by disabling panel mip maps.

Do you have both P3D v4 and v5 installed? I just moved my addon Traffic Global folder from v4.5 into the v5 addon folder.

There is a problem in the v5 installer, already reported to Just Flight.

Yeah I saw that too. Just saying how I got it working, seems to a temp working solution.
