X-Plane 11 Sky Texture problem

hello all. I have had this problem with X-Plane 11 for quite some time now but have never found a fix. the sky textures seem to be in front of the actual terrain, so there is this very very ugly band around the horizon that produces a very weird effect, and is most noticeable at dawn and dusk. i've attached a couple images so you can see the problem.

Are you using any addons? (I have this as well using xEnviro)

Unfortunately, this is standard X-Plane behaviour, not a bug.

Thanks for the info Colonel, I thought it was just me.. Perhaps with the promised atmospheric updates we'll see an improvement

Horizon sunset stripe is a "default sky texture" bug.
Dowload and install other sky textures, example this: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/48315-vivid-sky/
