Well done Ed for keeping an eye on these. There are so me pretty good ones coming along. I wonder will they be upgrade to P3D V5 🤣

This was a pleasant surprise. I had been thinking about getting Tenerife South for some time, but I had relegated my decision to the back burner until I saw this thread!

Anyone know if this can be put into FsX?

or would it look terrible?  Or just not work?

It's compiled with P3Dv4 native SDK. FSX will not work.

I've owned this scenery for quite some time and I highly recommend it!  Absolutely gorgeous, job very well done.  I fly there frequently. Enjoy !!

Flew it in v5 this evening, seems to work pretty well.

And I got Tenerife North from FlightSimStores and now I cannot activate it. Have FSS gone to the wall, or something like that?

Ha, i’m guessing you’ve been stuck on a desert island for a bit? 🙂

Yes, FSS pulled up stumps some time ago (not well handled, though, very disappointing how they went about it).

Not really, but I may as well have been as I let this one slip by me without paying too much heed to it. I was vaguely aware of something with the same abbreviation  from whom I used to buy my Orbx stuff from, so did not make the connection..

Thanks, anyway. Guess I'll have to contact RFScenery Building to see if I can use a scenery that cost over A$25.

I was just looking at that scenery to add to DD's Te South but I also want the entire island in photo. Looking to see if anyone has used the Spain freeware photo for Tenerife?

MSFS

I have almost completed downloading the Canary Islands photoscenery @ the superfast rate of 80K per second  Part 1 is 1.6GB, and took 5.5 hours to download. Part 2 is 1.0GB, and it will be done around one hour from now. The texture resolution and mesh resolution are apparently 1.2m per pixel and 4.8m per pixel respectively, so I am hopeful that it will look good with the Digital Design scenery package.
