Japanese airports on sale

Recommended Posts

For anyone interested in adding some airports from that country to their set up, Simmarket have Japanese airports by both Wing Creations and Technobrain on sale for another couple of days. The Wing Creations airports are very good value at 50% off until April 30th and although, apart from Narita, they are mostly medium sized airports but they are very nicely produced. The price reduction on the Technobrain airports is not as much (about 25%) and, as the normal retail price for these airports is already ridiculously high the new price still leaves them quite expensive IMO. However, they may be of interest to some simmers at their currently reduced price. The Technobrain sale ends in 2 days time (27th).

It is also worth noting that Drzewiecki Design are currently underway developing the Tokyo airport system, with intent to release over the summer, just to let everyone know.

@Canine Crew And there's also a very impressive version of Narita Airport in the making (by a user named ZIM Scenery): https://fselite.net/previews/zim-scenery-previews-tokyo-narita/

You can see the latest progress (and equally stunning screenshots) here: https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/the-rjaa-p3dv4-narita-airport-im-developing-share-some-pictures.446233/page-3

I will wait for that version and probably for Drzewiecki's version as well (in order to get Haneda, too). Wing Creations' and Technobrain's sceneries have their flaws that make them unattractive to me even at a discount price.

Do you know if these work in P3Dv4 ?   Thanks !

I have several of the Wing Creations airports including Narita and they all work fine in P3d v4. At 50% off they are not bad at all.

Cheers, Pete

That actually looks phenomenal, as someone with the QW787 Tokyo is a must have, this looks epic!

But on the flip side, Drzewiecki's may have a free demo like their other sceneries.....but this looks too good to avoid 🙂

Since Drzewiecki will include Haneda and regularly has very good discounts (up to 50 %), I guess you can't go wrong if you buy their version of Tokyo and then add the ZIM Scenery version of Narita on top (if the two are compatible - but usually, in Drzewiecki sceneries you can de-activate individual airports).
