How do I set the hatswitch to pan around/ look around?

Hi Guys,

I literally cannot get it to work. I cant look around the flightdeck at all. I can change views that are static cameras etc but I cannot pan around at all. What am I missing :(

I used to be able to do it but I can't remeber how to set it. :(

I'm using this  Thrustmaster Hotas X.
