PMDG 777 VNAV problem

Recommended Posts

Hey guys ever since today when i use the PMDG 777 and program the FMC routing manually (sometimes company routes) and do all the FMC preflight. The VNAV page (after filling everything out in the FMC) fails to show the recommended altitude and the mach speed blinking. Consequently the VNAV button in the MCP comes green initially when selected and then comes off adter 2 to 3 seconds. Furthermore even after putting all the correct values in the performance page and checking all the values, the legs page is left without any altitudes as a result of the issue regarding VNAV. I am 100% sure i set up the aircraft was set correctly and the same issue occurred even after reinstalling the aircraft both the PMDG 777-300ER and the PMDG 777-200LR/F. Hope somebody can help. Thanks

Have you deleted all of the user created panel states?

I had odd problems with the NGXu once, and only moving all of those out of the .\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGXu\PanelState\ folder fixed the problem. I'm certain that only 1 of them was the problem, but i just deleted them and created new ones. Leave the original PMDG ones, though. Sort them by date in Explorer and it's easy to spot the original ones.

Did the units get switched to kgs with you entering values in lbs?  If so, acft could be too heavy to reach the cruise altitude you set.
