May 2, 20206 yr Okay a testflight around FT KLAS /FTXSCA with Legacy and the updated 2.18 GTN750 resulted in a crash to desktop with the GTNsimulator being the issue in event viewer. I also have PBR disabled for the city as i suspect its new ground in P3dv5. Another try around in the silver strip with Dense sliders and no traffic as sometimes it do make my sim unstable (even the in build traffic) was a success using 6.2GB VRAM in 4K/2048 textures. Absolut smooth experience with almost clear skies. Night or dawn with all the lights i did not dare here 🙂 But it has potiential (at least for VFR so far) Michael Moe Michael Moe
May 2, 20206 yr A while ago I installed FlyTampa's St. Maarten Complete in P3D v5+HF1 without problems. Their Universal installer is fantastic. Also went ahead and installed their Grenadines Scenery as an add-on.xml and it seems to work just fine. (Although I must state that in their forums they state it is not compatible): Just flew from TNCM Juliana to TVSM Mustique using the RealAir Scout Amphibian and it was great; as a matter of fact Mustique actually has a sloped runway. It looked awful. I just don't understand it. The color wasn't too bad I guess, but the surface just looked awful. It really looked like FS9 tropical water. @RamonB, UTX have said they are not updating the programs for v5, but I followed this and it installed just fine. I didn't even get the error that was expected. Since the water (nVidia Waveworks 2.0) looks as good to me in P3d5 as it does in most recent high end PC games, there might be something that you have installed that is creating a conflict.
