[Resolved] green and red NAV lights on ground V5

Recommended Posts

Great product.  Picked up the pro version yesterday after using the free one for a while.  Does it change the lights on your own aircraft too or just AI?  Reason I ask is I'm noticing my plane is making really bright red and green circles under the nav lights on the pavement.  I only have one payware aircraft in V5.  So it could just be that one.

Thanks.

Hi There,

Many Thanks for your positive feedback. This will only change AI models.

What you are experiencing is your aircraft effects under V5 which are either not adjusted for V5 (they need now the amount of lumen's per light) or they are using the default values which are 90 lumen's which can be too high depending of how far is the wing-tip from the ground.

When effects are not configured with the required new options for V5, V5 will inject default values that can also be very high.. so watch out for that.

If you want to confirm my information, just disable AI Lights Reborn temporally and you will notice how the payware aircraft will continue to exhibit the behavior you are describing.

Kind Regards,
Simbol

thanks for the quick reply.  That is logical.  I'm using the QW757 which has not been converted to V5.
