Does anyone here that owns the Logitech throttle quadrant have a problem with control spikes? I tried turning up the null zone in p3d, but the throttles keep moving regardless of power setting.

A sure sign the potentiometers are wearing out. How long have you had it?

Depending on your DIY skills this might be an option. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/573643-turn-your-saitek-tpm-into-hall-effect-version/

Alternatively, buying another set is the only other option. Either Logitech or something costing more that will last longer.

It is brand new lol I just bought it two days ago. I'll check out that link and see if I can figure something out. Thanks.

If you can open it up, try giving the potentiometers a blast of compressed air to get any dust off their contacts. If that doesn't work, zapping them (very sparingly) with a bit of WD-40 (or similar) can sometimes help to clear and lubricate the electrical contacts, although use caution with that and only do it if there is no other option, especially if the thing is new and returning it is a choice which is available to you.

Personally I’d return it as faulty but if you’re comfortable doing what Chock suggested that may fix it.

I'll see what I can do. Unfortunately with COVID going on I wouldn't be surprised if there is a no refund policy right now. Thanks for the help guys.

Beware that Potentiometers with Carbon track will soften when wetted and can be damaged by moving the wiper.

Potentiometers that are worn through show spiking when operated as the wiper reaches through the track.

If there is spiking when not in operation this could be noise showing up for some reason maybe multiplied value in the software. If not already try connecting to a powered USB2 hub.
