Great news. Thanks for HU. Just downloaded my C172.

i9-13900K (HT off, 5.5 GHz, Z690) - 32 GB RAM (DDR5 6400, CAS 34), RTX 3090 -  Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2020 (MS Store, on separate 4TB M.2).

I did just install the Bonanza using the new P3D5 installer. Well... Got some trouble with all red digits...

Looks like they forgot some fonts with the new installers

There's an adjustment needed in the Prepar3d.cfg.  Look under Graphics, find virtual cockpit LOD, replace 0 to 1.  I'm not at my pc, but I believe that will fix it.

I'm at my PC now, the file is cockpit_high_lod=1.  If that doesn't solve it, than I'd check their forums as they're very helpful.

My A2A planes are extremely unstable on V5 HF1. Panel.dll, Kernelbase.dll, Urctbase.dll crashes and simulator hangs JUST when using the Bonanza or C172.

Otherwise P3D runs fine with RealAir planes, Vertx, and a couple others...

I’ve been using A2A aircraft for 80% of my flying since v5 release day. No problems with crashes or instability that I can relate to the planes. Bonanza, c182, cherokee and commanche. Flew the cub and connie in the past 24 hours, they seem to work well too.

Haven’t installed the v5 versions yet, but the v4 versions work a treat once you disable windscreen.dll

edit: also took the p40 up for its first flight last night. Thanks A2A! 😊

Yeah, there are a bunch of others reporting similar crashes on the A2A forum as well. At least I am not alone...

Solution on A2A Forum : https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=70461&p=535727#p535724 is to set "COCKPIT_HIGH_LOD=1 to "c:\users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Prepar3D.cfg. Was originaly at 0.

Did they get their vc rain effects working in v5?
