Saitek panels don't work anymore after launching a file

Recommended Posts

Hello,

(disclaimer I'm french sorry if my english isn't the best)

I'm stuck for several months with a problem, i tried and searched a lot on the internet but nothing worked.

(i'm desperate...)

So i just created an account on this forum to have help from the community.

I always used Prepar3D v4.5, I bought the saitek multi panel and switch panel a year ago, everything worked fine, i installed nothing, just plugged both USB sockets in my computer and I enjoyed those panels a lot.

BUT, one day i launched the "delete generated file" shortcut in the P3D folder in order to "clean a little bit" my simulator. After that, both switch and multi panels stopped working. (yes, immediately after doing this and nothing else)

i tried EVERYTHING (literally...) no way, everything works in the test software but nothing happen in P3D.

Sometimes some numbers appear on the multi panel screen but i can't do anything and they disappear seconds after.

If someone can help me, i would be infinitely grateful.

Thank you !

PS : i launched fsx (first time since 2017...) and they work perfectly in fsx. so it's  definitely a P3D problem.

Hi Maximilien

I see you didn't install any driver.  I have just purchased a Multipanel and it didn't work when I plugged it in.  I then Typed "Logitech Multipanel Driver" into Google and found a few sites pointing me to a Logitech Multipanel driver.  In my case I was looking for X-Plane but there are P3D drivers too.  I loaded the driver (very quick), plugged in the panel and it worked beautifully.  I understand you only need the one driver and all panels should work.

It is worth a try.

Best wishes

Pete
