Aircraft Control Mappings Not Working

Recommended Posts

Fairly new to LINDA here and loving it... I had this aircraft set up PERFECTLY, but reinstalled my OS and P3D. What I did was backup the Modules folder, then restore it once P3D was installed. All of my Dash 8 mappings are present, but some don't work, such as 'select eng x and start'. Should I just delete the entire Dash 8 profile and start over, or is there a way to resolve this perhaps?

What versions of P3D, LINDA and FSUIPC are you using?

If you have recently installed P3Dv5 and FSUIPC6 (6.0.7) then the /modules folder disappears and is replaced with a /FSUIPC6 folder in P3D v5/addons. See

Apologies... P3D 4.5, LINDA 3.2.0884 and FSUIPC6

Your should now find a /FSUIPC6 folder in c:/users/{your name}/documents/prepar3d v4 add-ons/. This is where you need to copy the /linda and /linda-cfg folders of your /modules backup into. Also I recommend you download and install LINDA 3.2.2 into the same /FSUIPC6 folder.

That's done. I also moved my Majestic Dash 8 profile folders over, mirroring their location in the Modules folder. Now the aircraft does not appear in the "Aircrafts" dropdown menu when I start Linda up?

Please follow the fault diagnosis procedure thread and email me the logs. I can’t see what you have done or what may be wrong without them.

Good that we have that sorted. There is an issue with the FSUIPC6 offsets giving the path to the Flt Sim on P3Dv4.5. I was able to repeat this on my system with P3Dv4.5 where the offsets is either correctly populated or blank. I don’t have the same problem with P3Dv5. I have reported this to FSUIPC developer for comment. It will not effect your normal operation of LINDA.

You should be aware that Lockheed Martin has released hotfix 3 for P3Dv4.5.
