And still no SIGMETs outside of US. Are they ever going to get this right?

My Simmarket license ID/order number were accepted with no problem. My previous license was for the upgrade from AS16 to ASP4. If copy & pasting the license from a Simmarket email or from your order history, be sure there is not a leading or trailing space when pasting it. At leading space would be obvious, a trailing space less so...

That what i used, but, no workie for me....

User error.....  Sorry, I dropped the ball. Working now.... Nothing to see here, Move along....

Or, HiFi could change the default data folder that the program looks for Navigraph files from \ASPD3\Navigraphdata\AS16 back to \ASPD3\Navigraphdata\AS.

The default folder used to be \AS16 when that was their flagship product, but it changed to \AS when ASP4 arrived. Not sure why they changed it back to the old nomenclature. I’ll inquire on the HiFi forum...

Thanks.  Got it figured out.

I posted a question at the HiFi forum about the return to the older “AS16” folder name from the newer “AS”.

I also asked if there is any difference in the actual nav data files themselves between AS16, ASP4 and ASP3D. I downloaded for ASP4 and copied them into the AS16 folder. Seems to work OK when processing a flight plan...

Just got an answer and it's a No for ASP4. Keep it installed. My guess is that ASCA should also stay on the drive.

What would be the purpose of keeping it installed?

Its not yet certain but it only uses 650mb, so for now I'm leaving it there at least. As for ASCA, there is SP3 version to download so it is compatible with ASP3D

If your still using P3D4.5 HF2. The beta only works in 4.5 HF3.

Nice shot!

Still, as True Sky is currently implemented in P3DV5, it’s kind of like a guitar with only half the normal number of strings, and even those not quite in tune. It can still “make music”, but not to its full potential.

I’m sure it will improve as LM fixes some bugs that exist in the T.S. implementation and gives third party developers more SDK functions to more fully control cloud types and placements.

Tell that to Keith Richards when he has only five strings on his Telecaster which is tuned to Delta Open G and he is rocking out with Start Me Up. 😈
