What's a good plane between GA and Tubeliner for P3d v5?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for something between a GA plane (Cessna 172) and a tubeliner (Boeing 777) for P3D v5. Something good for short to medium haul flights. Faster than a GA plane but slower than a full blown commercial tubeliner. Please recommend some high quality ones.

ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU

Flysimware Lear has become my favorite plane. Not really slower than a tubeliner but don't let that stop you.

FlySimWare Cessna C441 Conquest II. The real thing was specifically designed to fill the gap between jets and normally aspirated GA aeroplanes. The fact that it is fast, has a high ceiling, is pressurised and has a decent range, means you can make long trips pretty quickly with it.

The FSW falcon 50 is also a great option. Plus it is 3 engine so it is unique 😄

Basically any of the FSW planes are a great option right now for v5.

I won't say it's "high quality one" but currently I'm enjoying PC12+RXPGTN750, set nice at 250KTAS at FL200

Is the Falcon 50's windshield rain effect working in v5?

ooh, I'll check that one out for sure! How is it system wise? 🙂

In so far as things can be within a flight sim, it has a pretty realistic simulation of the correct operation of the Garret TPE331 and its propeller brake operation and associated modes. Avionics-wise it is simulating an aircraft with a slightly older fit, but that is well done too. It's not as pretty as the Alabeo C441 (which has very ropey engine simulation), so if you prefer systems realism over looks, then the FlySimWare one is the one to have. Definitely one of FlySimWare's best add-ons.
