P3D V5 Update

Recommended Posts

Just updated my PMDG 747 to the latest version and FS2Crew (version 1.5) keeps prompting me to set the parking brake despite I have already done so.

No other error is displayed. Not sure if this is relevant to the new PMDG update.

Capts,

PMDG just released the P3D V5 version of the PMDG 747 QOTS II.

We need to make a small change to FS2Crew's Config Manager to make things work properly in V5.

We'll get that out asap.

Thanks Bryan.

Did you manually install FS2Crew into P3D V5 with the PMDG 747?

We haven't released the P3D V5 version yet.

We need to make a change to the Config Manager and test it.

If you'd like to test it, please send me a Support Ticket via: www.fs2crew.com

Cheers,

I just updated still on P3Dv4 an also get the parking brake set error, and door warning. The addon is pretty much useless atm. FS2Crew also thinks my freighter is a pax version. Hope it's an easy fix

The SDK header file may have changed.

I'll check it out.

Hi, I do confirm that in v4.5 HF3 the FO doesn't start the Before start procedure because he says "we still have the door light here", even if all the doors are closed. There is something not working correctly.

Okay, it appears that somethings amiss with the newly updated PMDG 747 (P3D V4 and V5) version.

FS2Crew is no longer albe to pull any data out of the 747.  So there's an SDK problem somewhere in the new update.

I'll fire off an email to the Big Randowski and find out what's happening.

Also with the new update, on top of what was mentioned above, I can't seem to trigger the FO with any voice commands.  Everything is set up correctly, what I am saying is showing up in the green bar, but nothing happens.  "Are you ready for the departure brief?" doesn't trigger the usual response, "Preflight Checklist" doesn't trigger the checklist.  I've run through all of them, and nothing happens.  No mutes are set either.
