P3dV4 & P3DV5 cohabitation

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I wanted to know if anyone using V4 and V5 on same PC?

Any issues ?

I'm considering it as a smooth transition but not sure if all will work correctly.

No issues here other than the aforementioned HD space challenge!  Between those two sims, and Xplane, and the enormous free trial that DCS has going on my SSD’s are a bit taxed right now 🙂

I’m glad i decided to leave v4 in place so I can keep simming with FSLabs etc as usual while some of the issues with v5 are hammered out and we await compatibility updates.

There is one issue:

you have a scenery package in 4.5 with SODE but in 5 that add-on scenery is not compatible so you will see the big red X's.

Small issue, but it<s there.

Cheers
