My first texture and Shader tweaks result

This is legacy mode and not TrueSky.

Clouds from ASC
Sky/Water from EnvTex
Shaders tweaked manually with EnvShade to mimic a bit the True Sky experience..

Must have taken quite a bit of time, to fiddle with the adjustments? I wouldn't think you could do it on the fly.

You can map a hotkey to reload shaders in P3D. Not quite on the fly but you can then tweak ENVSHADE and then reload the shaders to test.

Why do we want 4096 clouds and then choose Soft Clouds.

True Sky also uses soft clouds

Textures : 1024, so no 2048 or 4096

When you look at an object 2-3 mls away in real life the contours look soft and not sharp. 
And from within my real size cockpit this looks more real.

I adjust and reload with Shift+R ( my hotkey )

Could you please share your envshade settings? With the Envtex I also reduced the textures resolution and it helped me a lot to lower my VRAM.

I am also trying to get Kiwis yellow scattered sunlight set to work.

Just look at them. They have a soft look.
