Practice landings - transport aircraft to a position

Recommended Posts

Is there any add-on software that can transport a plane to some waypoint in the air - the aim is to practice landings without actually flying there.

Press Y to slew.

While I would set it to Ctrl+Shift+Y to make it less likely get into slew mode unintentionally.

FSiPanel too - I use it all the time; it’s really useful and the developer is very responsive to enquires and support via the relevant forum

Try this freeware app first.
Made for FSX and still works in P3Dv4 (not yet using v5).

Or just fly to the location you want to start your approaches it and save the flight. You can then reload it. Just remember where your throttle settings and such are.

I decided on FS-FlightControl - does what I want and more than I knew I wanted (but now I do).
