Is there any way to use pmdg777's weather radar on p3dv5?

I tried to run a weather radar on pmdg777 using a file from pmdg747 where the weather radar could work on p3dv5, but it failed.  do you know any way?  I would like to run pmdg777 weather radar directly on p3dv5.
