Avionics fans/pack noise?

I have never been in a Falcon 50 in real life, so my comparisons may be invalid, but I noticed there isn't any pack noise or noise from the avionics. It is strictly wind noise and engine noise. When the engines are at idle it is completely quiet. is this normal?

I have been in the real thing and distinctly remember electrical hum noise, I would like to see it implemented

So I played around with the sound.cfg and found that the FALCON_GYRO wav file is used when the battery is switched on however is played very quietly. In the cfg file under the GYRO section, you can change the volume from 8800 to something like 12000 for a large improvement. Furthermore, I actually swapped out a 'gyro' sound from another airplane that I preferred to make it run when the falcon's batteries are switched on and now it's perfect, albeit might not be exactly true to the real thing, but now I get that satisfying electrical hum.

Awesome I'll take a look at it. I can imagine creating soundpacks can be quite difficult unless you have access to an aircraft and are able to record all the different sounds. It would be cool to see if TSS could make a Honeywell TFE soundpack and integrate it with the Falcon someday.

If anyone's interested I can send them my small sound mods for the falcon. I made a custom battery/gyro sound by combining and resampling multiple different aircraft's that I like into one nice sound. I also reduced the volume of the APU as it shouldn't be so loud being all the way in the back and outside the aircraft. Finally I reduced the fire warning sound by half volume and it now sounds better and more in line with the other warning sounds. It's my first time modifying sounds but I'm pretty happy with them. I too have not been in a real Falcon.  However, one thought re. this:-

The sound file that comes on with the battery power switch is called "FALCON_GYRO.wav", but despite it's name it isn't the sound of gyros running up, but is a just a faint power hum with possibly a fans sound.  This could well be right, as the gyros themselves don't power on and erect until the inverter switches (AC power) are switched on - this is when you would expect to hear the whine of the gyros running up (they do erect visually at this point).  I think someone might have forgotten to add a gyro sound to the visual effect.  Being a gauge nincumpoop, I don't know if this can be done, but it would be nice.

The battery power-on hum is very weak, even if that's realistic, so I personally have boosted the .wav volume a bit in my Falcons.

Can someone correct me if im wrong but the gyro for the standby instrument starts spinning up with the battery power switch on?

First I would like to apologize for taking so long to post this, I've been quite busy and didn't have a chance to try your sound mod until now.
Second;y I would like to thank you for the amazing job you've done. I love the sound pack, specially, when on the ramp doing pre-flight checks, the immersion now is fantastic! Also, I don't know if you change anything in relation to engine sounds but it felt different even when the engines were running.

Thank you so much once again for your work, it really changed this magnificent airplane!
