Just Purchased P3D V5

Hi All,

As the tittle says, i would like to know do i need to repurchase all the software again or do i need to just redirect the installation path to point at V5? Really need your help on this pls.

Best bet is to check with the developer of whatever you are wanting to install for a v5 native installer. Some stuff can work by pointing the v4 installer to V5, but some stuff has issues as well. Best bet is to get a v5 native installer or wait for it to come out for your particular add on.

Most stuff can just be pointed at the V5 folder, a notable exception is add-ons which have the A2A windscreen effect; the V4 compatible version of that crashes P3D V5, so you either need an updated V5 installer, or to disable that effect in your add-ons installed folder if it was a V4 installer that you used and it had that A2A effect included. A2A have patched this now incidentally.

@Gizmo05, to be explicit, you do not have to purchase most addons again.  See what others have posted regarding installation.
