So we no longer have to pay for navigraph?

Well that not only depends on whether you make MSFS2020 your only flight sim, but also how you view matters; you'll still be paying for it, it'll just be a built in cost buried in the price tag. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

"updated at every AIRAC cycle or based on your specific needs"  says to me what it needs to say.  My specific needs may be different than yours....  Draw your own conclusions.  At their web site I see charts and maps.

Click here to go to the Navblue web site

When there scroll toward the bottom and click on NAVBLUE.aero.  When there you need to scroll up, not down, for some reason.  Then for example, perhaps, look at the On Board selection you find.  Then Navigation+.  Already mentions Flight Simulators.  Best guess is that this will be a subscription service.  Just a guess but an educated guess.

I agree that the cost will be passed on somehow (unless navblue owed microsoft a big favor and this is how they are repaying it)

It would be cool if Navigraph will offer MFS2020 compatibility . Since i will continue to use x-plane AND MFS (btw .. i do attribute the cost of navigraph to xplane.. even though my payments go to navigraph :: xplane doesnt offer charts.. pay or not .. so i have no choice)   - That way im only paying the same amount..

Now, I will pay for both if i have to.. I can handle it.. but it would be nice not to have to...   🙂

That is 100% correct, the only thing that is truly FREE is the word its self.

The video made no mention of charts so you'll have to pay if you want those. If you also use other sims, maybe for an addon not currently available in MFS, then you may well be paying for it anyway.

Prepare for advertisment on EFB displays. 😄
