Maybe sub-forums about trees and alpha access for dummies?

Recommended Posts

Admins, for obvious reasons there are some folks between us that believe that trees are the only issue that has to be fixed while there is ton of other important issues to be fixed that are by now very obvious to the Asobo/MS and the whole FS community. So maybe just maybe is it an idea to create a sub-forum for trees just like you did with VR? Maybe just maybe then we can have senseful discussions back on the forum. Just a silly thought....😒

Can you list the issues, would be interesting read.

I notice in the IFR video there seems to be FPS issues, stuttering etc.

It would already be great if we could keep related stuff (alpha invites, minor news, etc) in one thread instead of opening a new one for every little piece and bit.

Jeez, you want forums specifically created for individual subjects to whine about? Gawd no.

How about just a Whiner's Forum and another selection box on each post for your vote if you think it should be moved there.

Yeah, let's all just sit around and agree with each other. That sounds pleasant...and so entertaining. 😴

Not that hard to find.

Or how about just hit the ignore button or how about just avoid those said topics that you think aren’t relevant. The issue isn’t the members it’s for MS/Asobo to address and before people say Asobo don’t need to do anything, they’ve been practically showing off how there listening to the community with the quotes in the updates each week, well here’s an opportunity to put some things to bed, trees/subscription etc etc but they have left the door open again.

Btw I have no issue with the trees And Im not overly worried about a subscription, but am not keen on people using this as an opportunity to throw digs at people who are.

Yes and no mention of tree size.

Well that's the problem isn't it... many think that massively oversized trees is an issue (e.g. see the Sydney screenshot in the May 28th update).

So maybe Asobo is just like you and they have no issue with tree size?  No mention of it in "top alpha issues"... 🙄

Yes....Just what the world needs, another "safe space" where we can all hug and no one gets triggered. 🤗

Never mind the trees, we need cow pats in the grass, & a sub forum for that. Very essential for us..

I know this is tongue in cheek, but it's kind of ironic that the (over) moderation of this forum

Killed off any VR talk by siloing it into a new subforum
Killed off any hardware talk by banning it
Closed down every few threads on subjects that were "not allowed", based on no written rules

The end result being the MSFS sub-Reddit getting busier and busier and this forum getting quieter and quieter.
Who'd have thunk it.

So, no, let people talk about what they want to talk about.

There are many people in several places on the internet that agree that the oversized trees are an issue and think accurate scale is important in an experience such as virtual flying where assessing visual cues is critical to that experience.
