yes, if you deactivate envshade you need to be sure the original shader folder is restored (ShaderHLSL) in p3d v5 main folder and then delete the shader folder from the appdata/local/lockheedmartin folder.

Im very interested in this subject as I cannot eliminate these horrible purple color's also.

I have reinstalled client, used a New (ShaderHLSL) but I still have the problem.

Can someone give me precise instructions on how to fix this problem.

I use Envtex, EnvShade, EnvSound.

What can I do to fix this problem as it completely is destroying my enjoyment of P3Dv4H2.

Kind Regards

Yeah, there doesn't appear an easy fix, using EA really takes away the detail of the clouds, that ASCA puts in.

So its a lose lose all around.

I'm surprised there are not others who are experiencing the problem?

Does reinstalling Client redoes ShaderHLSL? Or, perhaps, this folder is in Content part of P3Dv5 installer?

Thanks.

A bit to late now but after a full complete new install of P3D always backup your default shaders, and your controls once set etc.

I followed one of Poppets piece of advice, deleted my shader file, did a client repair, and it made a new SHADERHLSL folder with original cloudfx etc etc,

I then copied that Folder so I have a spare Original, then ran Envshade and still, get purple reflections on aircraft????

So tomorrow is another day and another challenge!!

How do you get cloud shadows like that?  I see zero cloud shadows!

I have Envshade/Envtex installed.  I have cloud shadow on but whatever settings I use in P3D V5 or Envshade, I never see cloud shadows.

Hi, MrBitstFlyer, I get beautiful cloud formation from ASCA, set at 2048, and same setting in Envshade, but I also DO NOT get cloud shadows on the ground.

I get Ugly purple reflection on all Ai and my aircraft.

Also in the VC, I get purple flashes.

Anywhere, that the sun shines through clouds, or reflections off water, while flying this purple colour appears.

But in saying that, I could be sitting at YPJT, any everything has a purple tinge.

Its definitely the shadows, and reflections in the VC, except in purple?

My P3dv5 settings are shadows maxed out, but nothing.

Frustrated beyond belief!!!!!
