[Answered] This password "thing"

Recommended Posts

This is not a gripe, it's a praise. In the last month my 'puter has lost my password for AI lights Pro twice. Then I have to go thru logging in again with the result error of running out of login attempts , but guess what? Whenever I get up the next morning there is always an Email telling me my login and password, plus I'm no longer  short on login attempts. "COOL", thanks for making life easier. I run this thing with admin rights, so don't understand what's going on, but whatever, I always get bailed out!

*just to add I have same prob with ORBX Central for getting who I am occasionally also

I check the logs every morning and if I see anyone on trouble with this I send reminders.

AI lights reborn tracks computer IDs if these changes it will require a re-activation. Features windows updates (1803, 1903, etc.) Will trigger this.

Simbol

Passwords drive most people crazy, esp. lately:  "Must contain capitals, numbers,  and symbols". Who can possibly remember which one goes to all the sites we visit?  Some sites are so crazy, you think one was trying to actually break into Fort Knox for the gold.  (I myself keep all my PW's in a little secreted notebook).

So thanks simbol for showing some consideration to your customers - we could use a little more of that lately...

"Computer ID's"... every time windows updates, it wrecks my network setup, I have to rebuild the network, the last time (2004 update) I ended up giving all machines the same computer name and login credentials, that may have caused you to give me another activation last week. Thanks Simbol, hopefully now I can reduce you workload (by 1 reactivation) 😌
