Military AI

Recommended Posts

Is there available anywhere a military ai program for P3Dv5?  My Traffic works well for commercial airports but military traffic is sadly lacking.

So far the Capt Sim C-130s and the Aerosoft F-16s and the Virtavia C-17s work well in v5.  But taking off from bare military bases is a bummer.  It would be nice to have some parked military aircraft ad traffic to encounter at those airfields.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Check out Military AI Works (MAIW).  Free and with lots of AI around the world.

LorbyLiveTraffic can create randomized military simulator AI, planes and helicopters. But it doesn't contain any models beyond what is present in the sim by default - you would have to download additional military AI aircraft yourself and add them to the app.

Best regards

Military AI Works (MAIW) is indeed fantastic but the P3Dv5 version is not ready yet. It is however, currently being worked on.

It may not be officially ready but it does work if you copy of the addon.cfg entries from your v4 installation.  Use at your own risk of course.

I am familiar with MAIW in FS and FSX and using their utility to convert the traffic file to FSX.  I'll give that a shot.

The Matrix traffic works great in V5, just be mindful to remove the included scenery or convert it for V5 otherwise you will get the default airport objects showing up as well.
