Game or simulator?

This question - coming up here again and again - is pointless unless you define what these terms mean in the first place.

Depending on the definition it is well possible that MSFS can be considered to be both a game and a simulator at the same time.

But if "game" means "fun" and "simulator" means "constant tweaking and struggling with performance, CTDs and OOMs" I'd prefer MSFS to be a game.

Anyway after all it will probably all depend on the size of the trees...

Who honestly cares?.... it's a game for people who want to play games... it's a simulator to those who want to treat it as such.
