June 15, 20205 yr Hi, I have made the installation according to the manual into: C:\Users\XXXXX\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSUIPC6: LINDA starts normal, all green, defining buttons, button click in GUI recognized but no effect in the PMDG 747 panel. Checking the FSUIPC.ini there is the following error: Quote 390109 Aircraft loaded: running normally now ... 390141 User Aircraft ID 1 supplied, now being used 390625 System time = 15/06/2020 12:25:25, Simulator time = 12:20:47 (10:20Z) 390625 Aircraft="Boeing 747-4R7F Cargolux LX-VCV" 397844 -------------------- Starting everything now ---------------------- 397891 LUA.0: beginning "C:\Users\RENE\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSUIPC6\ipcReady.lua" 398000 LUA.1: LINDA:: [START] *********************** STARTING LINDA *********************** 398031 LUA.1: LINDA:: [START] Loading System Configuration files 398047 LUA.1: [START] file_exists linda-cfg/system/config-sys.lua 398047 LUA.1: LINDA:: [START] Loading linda-cfg/system/config-sys 398156 LUA.1: [START] file_exists linda-cfg/system/config-sys.lua 398156 LUA.1: [START] Accessing linda-cfg/system/config-sys 398156 *** LUA Error: ...\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSUIPC6\linda.lua:376: module 'linda-cfg/system/config-sys' not found: no field package.preload['linda-cfg/system/config-sys']linda-cfg/system/config-sys no file 'D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\modules\linda-cfg/system/config-sys.lua' no file 'D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\modules\linda-cfg/system/config-sys\init.lua' no file 'D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\modules\lua\linda-cfg/system/config-sys.lua' no file 'D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\modules\lua\linda-cfg/system/config-sys\init.lua' no file 'D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\modules\lua\linda-cfg/system/config-sys.dll' no file 'D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\modules\lua\loadall.dll' The missing 'linda-cfg/system/config-sys' is not in the folder: Edited June 15, 20205 yr by ScotFlieger
June 15, 20205 yr When you initially install LINDA the key file config-sys.lua is not present and will show the error you report. This file is created automatically when you first run LINDA.exe. Just restart LINDA and if problem persists click on Restart LUA Engine. June 15, 20205 yr Author Hi Andrew, thanks for your quick reply. I did as instructed: The file config-sys.lua is in the "... June 15, 20205 yr The config-sys.lua is present and is correctly formatted. There is a LUA instruction require() that has been of concern and is producing the error. The FSUIPC developer assures me that this has not changed with FSUIPC6. Try restarting P3Dv5 (and FSUIPC6) and then LINDA to see it helps. Otherwise email me the full fsuipc6.log and linda2.log. Also send the original config-sys.lua file. Email is linda @ awginfosys.net. June 15, 20205 yr Logs received. You need to install FSUIPC6 6.0.8 as the latest stable version. Earlier versions had various issues.
