Try this:

Search for
...My_Downloads\Garmin\Trainer_2.7.1.0\setup_resources\databases\2.6.0.0

and run Databases.Setup.msi

Hi Bert

I bought this through F1 and all they give is an installer that goes into the C:/realityxp folder that installs into xplane and installs

the trainer there is no separate trainer in the downloads folder. I have installed and uninstalled a couple of times now, funny thing is when I try to re-install

it says a database is installed but when I look in C:/Program Data/garmin/trainer/database there is no database there on the FPL folder.

When I uninstall Garmin I do that through windows settings then I completely delete the programdata/garmin folder but, somehow the database is still there

according to the trainer installer. I am at the point of giving up now cant seem to move forward with this.

Flight1 say they do not support realityxp for xplane

Download the 9 files that have "databases" in their names and put them into a temporary folder on your desktop.
(1 msi file and 8 cab files).

Then run the msi file.

Hello Bert

Well the good news is everything is working again.  Thank you for all your advice and help in getting the database back working.

Now I can continue my flight from scotland to florida flying the long way round via iceland and greenland, I am using the carenado

premier1 which uses the GTN750 as default.so everything is good again.

Thanks once again for the sterling service I got in this matter

Bruce
