Realism Shader

Hi Guys,

Im still in the process of finding a shader I actually enjoy and think enhances the sim making it look more realistic. Please can anyone advice their favorite / know of any good shaders that literally help with realism? Im not bothered about nice fancy screenshot looking shaders but something to make the sim look more "real". Sorry if its a very generic question!

I'm primarily interested in making P3D look more real or natural and hate cheesy "fake" effects. Take a look at my PTA presets here:

...with 267_01 being my last one for P3Dv4.5 (I've since switched to P3Dv5, which PTA doesn't support):

EDIT: Try looking for Gerard's presets as well. They're comprehensive and also on the "realistic" side.

Thanks :) I'm trying out your preset now! :) Only problem I can see so far is the in the distance haze is very orange aswell as some clouds?

Hmmm ... that should absolutely NOT be happening!!!! More info please! Which version of P3D and PTA? REX? ActiveSky?

I'm sure you have - but are you totally sure you've cleared the shaders cache? I think PTA does that automatically for you when you apply the preset, but it's worth checking.

The only other thing I can think of is that you have a slightly extreme sky texture loaded/installed. Try installing a different set and see what happens.
