I've noticed that the F! GTN doesn't come with an update tool like previous versions did, How will I be able to update in the future?

Use the Flight1 Purchase Agent.

 

Found a nice feature in the MSG when You load the GTN750.
Click on it and, if You have not updated it will tell You there is a new version.

With the Flight1 Purchase Agent. After the initial setup, no need to enter your registration info all the time now for the Flight1 Products. Just download installer and run setup.

Several users of Flight1 GTN 650/750 have problems after the  HF 2 update for  P3Dv5 .

P3Dv5 hangs on exit.

(GTN 650/750 cpl version 2.2), Garmin trainer version 2.7.1.0

I'm having an issue with 2.2, can anyone confirm that pushing the inner knob switches form COM to NAV specially on the 650.

Actually, I can hardly remember when I hit the inner knob to switch from COM to NAV. Just test it. Didn't work on my system. I guess I mainly use the hotspot 😉

Interesting, I think I figured it out sort of. If you click on the Hot Sport just below the Psh NAV it pops it out once it's pop'd out you can then click on the same hot spot to change it to NAV and pop it back in but after some 15-20 seconds it will default back to COM

The second way specially for the 650 is to select "nearest" for example and select VOR it will auto change it to the NAV mode where you can select a Freq's and again after about 15-20 seconds it will default back to COM.
