It figures it`s called the paradise tree snake...  Wings? It  don`t need no stinkin' wings... 

the same kinds of maneuvers that help snakes move in water and on sand can also help them when they're gliding through the air.

NOPE! Especially if the tree snake is poisonous.. ah,, definitely NOPE! "They are mildly venomous with rear fangs and also can constrict their prey, which consists of mostly lizards and bats"

Flying pigs may happen - this is 2020 LOL crazy times.

Now, flying sharks on the other hand.. We would really be f... not in a good place at all!

They say the snake flattens its body, but not only that, it appears to flatten it into an airfoil section; look at the second photo of the snake in flight (or glide)!!

It`s horizontal undulation combined with it`s X 2V vertical undulation along with the fact that it`s head doesn`t move qualifies it for controlled flight in my book. This little animal was born with the right stuff. The physics at work here are indeed freaky to reprise the word of the scientists who made this discovery. I`m into these kinds of stories... tiny spiders using ascending currents and winds to land on the tallest peaks of the Himalayas; flying snakes etc
