Hummmm... I'm intrested in the ATR-72 but it might be an flying eyecandy? Any experiance?

Tested by real pilots?

-"Hey James, are you real pilot?

-"Yeah sure!"

-"Can you test our new ATR-72?"

-"Sure, it looks excellent, flies badly and lacks 60% of the real systems"

At the office: ....Lets just write "tested by real pilots"....

Sorry for the offtopic.. 🙂

Need some advice, please. Which bizjet to get?

  • Dassault Falcon 50
  • Cessna Citation XL560
  • Cessna Citation 525A CJ2
  • Embraer Phenom 300

Looking for the one that gives the best combination of good performance on PC, doesn't have show stopping problems and looks great.

Did this process not work for you?

If your aircraft utilize Navigraph (Proline21 and some of our G1000) and/or a weather radar you need our “Carenado P3Dv5 Patch”. CLICK HERE TO GET IT.

In the FSElite v5 add on section it says it should work out of the box after pointing the installation to v4 folder. Wanted confirmation that works

If you don't mind me asking, which do you prefer and why?

Then why are no online sales showing Carenado aircraft as V5 compatible , you could say the same with all V4 addons.

v5 HF2 .

Just picked up the X-plane versions of the B58 Baron and 550 citation in the sale, both aircraft I've had the pleasure of flying in real life.

I must say I'm impressed by both of them.

The baron has nice smooth 3d instruments perfect as an IFR platform and its asymmetric flight handling was actually really good which I wasn't expecting, I'm just considering adding the REP to it now but it flies so well out of the box I'm not even sure I need it.  Flying in VR with the left engine shut down and feathered is quite an experience.

I have the citation in P3D already, but as usual it looks like Thrandra have sprinkled their magic and it's a lot nicer product in X-plane. Again sat in the cockpit in VR is just how I remember the real jet.

I usually attack these sales like a fat kid at a buffet and end up with tat, but I seem to have struck gold this time so I'll quit while I'm ahead.

I too am curious about the ATR-72. PCAviator has it for $24. Does anyone know if it’s decent?

Cheers, Pete
