GNS430 No Power (resolved)

Recommended Posts

I set this up to be a popup in an A2A T6-Texan in P3DV4.5.

The Garmin GNS trainer is installed.

The unit shows in the panel but there's no way to power it up. Avionics on, radios on, engine running, generators on.

It popsup via a click spot but its screen remains black.

I'd be grateful for advice.

Do you own both the 530 and 430?

Do either of them work in other aircraft?

Bert, thanks.

The 'problem' (my rank stupidity) is solved - at least for now.

I will not embarrass myself by explaining what I did wrong.

My best advice is not to try to put a round peg (a 430) in a 530 hole. I own the 530 only. 🙄
