Landing Gear angle

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This is an old issue but I searched the forum but didn't find any posts about "landing gear".

I find that some planes with large landing gear trucks like the FAIB 747, FAIB 767, FSP 787 & 777 their wheels tilt back up into an angled position after landing, as if the altitude of the plane is a little off the ground. This tends to happen as the wing flex is changing, but that might be a coincidence.

I've tried playing with the static_cg_height in the aircraft.cfg for AI model but this only affects the new planes spawned at gates, not planes that have just landed.

Anyone else confirm this? Kiek, is this an airport altitude value issue or a data provider issue?

All the best!

It is certainly not a dp issue.

If it happens at every airport it does not seem to be an airport altitude value issue either...

How do "canned" AI 747's land in AI programs such as UTL or Traffic Global, are they doing a better job?

I haven't got any tradition AI installed right now, but maybe someone else can chime in if they have seen it. Maybe the built in AI traffic would be enough to test.

I can check at other airports.

Thanks.
