And I would love to continue to fly in v5 with an atmosphere of v4.5.

Its still there in v5, but you know that.

Yes, but the PTA does not work and the sun does not shine)

@BMW969 Why not give Tomatoshade a go. They seem to be on the ball and, I believe, have a shader Preset for V5. I loved their Preset in 4.5. Not sure if it can be used with EA beta, however. Perhaps it’s unnecessary as the lighting with EA is pretty good as it stands.

Regards,

Mike

No Tomatoshade for V5 and from what I’ve seen on here, it’s unlikely there ever will be

I stand corrected. Sorry about that!

Quote from RDPresets:

“TomatoShade is currently not compatible with Prepar3D V5. The RDPresets Prepar3D V5 Guide will receive an update as soon as this is the case to tell you everything there is to know about TomatoShade in Prepar3D V5.”

Still, there may be hope they can pull it off at some point.

Has this artist ever looked at the sun during the day?

Even in sunglasses, it does not look like an even circle.

This is most annoying in P3Dv5

It looks like a 1998 simulator

You are just trolling here, thats obvious. Wondering why you as MSFS Alpha user does still use P3D when the other sim is so superior.

Not at all. Not is so superior.. Simple airplanes and much more work to do. But the sun is really gorgeous.

And in P3Dv5 everything is already working fine and there are a lot of wonderful planes!
