I dont think that you can install it, as it has not been released yet.

I see, so, the pre-release is pretty pointless (as some have mentioned above) then if you still have to download GB's of data on the day? I'd imagine it gets hammered. Just trying to understand it.

Here's a nice personal recollection by Aerosoft's Mathijs Kok on working with Asobo:

Everybody should get ready for the payware companies' fire sale that will be coming very soon to your neighborhood...

Yes, you will only be able to complete the download once on release date.

It's like being given the key foe a house that is still being built.

Those bridges to the lower left at 0:56 in the trailer..........are they solid underneath, or is that just some kind of odd visual effect?

For Windows 10 PCs ... so no support for Windows 7...?

They have been pretty clear on this for a while that it requires Windows 10.

I just imagine Austin Meyer's face today.

He's too busy on side projects to even notice.  The other few developers will be will receive alerts while working in their basement.

Solid. Not sure if the bridges will be fixed in time for release....

One of the things I REALLY wish is that the developer tools become friendly enough to make the freeware movement as vibrant as it was back in the day (and I mean: anyone remember the FSFORUM library back in the CompuServer era??? from then to all the great sites that were born through all the different MFSF releases to FSX). God only know how much I've spent in payware (i won't state this publicly just in case my wife is reading) and I'm not against commercial developers at all. But X-Plane's vibrant freeware community is one of that simulator's strongest points, and It'd be great to have that in MSFS 2020.

Am I supposed to be able to pre Download it? I have pre ordered the premium delux.

it says, “where do you want to install?, it looks like you don’t have any applicable devices linked to your Microsoft account”

I have only been able to download the 26mb thing

Chris, do you notice anything in these sims other than minor bridge defects?? 🙂

That's it.. You now have a key for a house that is still being built.

He likes to fly under them, so they cannot be solid.
